‘The Battle and the Breeze’ is a historical adventure story from author R.M. Ballantyne. Bill Bowls is a member of the British Navy, along with friends Ben Bolter and Tom Riggles. Together the trio find themselves caught up in all kinds of incidents whilst serving with the Navy, and even find themselves involved in the infamous Battle of the Nile, in which the British forces under Admiral Nelson engaged in a terrifying battle with the French.
